Our History

a propos de nous 01

The legacy

"When I was a little girl, I used to wander through the corridors of my family's factory in Toulouse, just outside our house. I'd spend hours fascinated by the craftsmen manufacturing elegant handmade ladies shoes. Their meticulous work, each precise gesture, was a spectacular show. The scent of leather wafting through the air is still printed in my memory, a testimony to the poetry of craftsmanship and 'handmade' in France.

I was captivated by the art of transforming a raw material into an object of elegance and utility. I was lucky enough to grow up in the midst of all this, to see this world through the eyes of a dreamy child.

Today, I am trying to honor this legacy by carrying on this beautiful story with today’s new chapter"

From engineering to art

"Physics and equations are not so different from art, contrary to what many people think. There is art in engineering, just as there is engineering in art. The two disciplines intertwine, merge to form one and be whole.

Claire and I have always enjoyed combining these worlds. For us, art and technology are one and the same. By combining them, we create pieces that are both artistic and ingeniously designed, where every detail, both aesthetic and functional, reflects this harmony."

Claire Poujoula

An artistic vision at the service of creation

From a young age, Claire POUJOULA was driven by a deep desire to create spaces that evoke well-being and harmony. At just 18, she left her hometown for Paris, determined to transform her passion into a career. She joined the prestigious Ateliers de Sèvres, followed by studies in spatial design at the renowned École de Condé. These two institutions laid the solid foundations of her expertise in interior architecture.

For several years, she worked as an architect, bringing a unique sensibility to each project. But her need to explore new forms of expression soon led her to transcend the limits of architectural space. She felt a deep call to work with matter itself, to give life to objects that combine beauty and utility.

In 2015, she returned to Toulouse, her home town, to further develop her craft skills. For three years, she trained with elite ceramists, mastering a variety of techniques including modelling, moulding, and the complex work of glazes and engobes. This period of intense research marked a decisive turning point in her career. She refined her style and shaped her own artistic universe, imbued with rigour and creativity.

Her design, thought through to the last detail, reflect her commitment to offer creations that are both elegant and crafted with perfection in order to leave an accomplished testimony as an artist.

Fausto Gill DI Vincenzo

From engineering to art: a career guided by passion

For Fausto, there is only one step between Engineering and Art: one shaped by passion. From an early age, he has always been attracted to a multitude of disciplines. However, it was Science that he turned towards to, with a deep interest in how it influences our daily lives. This path led him to Rome's La Sapienza University, where he graduated in aeronautical engineering. There he developed a fascination for the scientific rigour and ingenuity required to design complex machines.

His parents, inspiring and experienced entrepreneurs, passed on to him much more than the desire to succeed. They taught him to dream big, to persevere with love, and to always believe in his ambitions. It is with these values that he has developed his career, culminating in international sales management positions, where he has managed teams, projects and markets around the world, combining strategy, innovation and leadership.

Despite his success in the worlds of engineering and business, he felt an irresistible call to reconnect with his artistic fibre. After years in technical and commercial environments, he rediscovered the joy of drawing, designing and creating. This return to his roots rekindled his passion for product design, a discipline that allows him to combine his engineering skills with his artistic sensibility.

At the heart of his career lies a precious family heritage: the love of doing business together. In his eyes, this adventure shared with Claire is unique, driven by a deep bond, exciting challenges and a shared vision driven by passion and creativity.
