Ceramic Artists
French-Italian
DI VINCENZO POUJOULA was born from the human and artistic encounter between a French interior designer Claire Poujoula and an Italian aerospace engineer Fausto Gill Di Vincenzo. Two creative minds who became self-taught ceramic artists, their eclectic backgrounds merged to give life to creations defined by sophisticated shapes and subtle nuances.
Clay (stoneware) is their medium of choice — a shared language through which they express their imagination and sensitivity, handcrafting each piece.
It was in Toulouse, in 2019, that their shared exploration of ceramic art began — a journey in two voices, at the crossroads of design, art, and contemporary craftsmanship.
Our story
The fusion of talents: from sketch to one-of-a-kind piece
At the heart of the creative couple DI VINCENZO POUJOULA, two unique paths converge in a shared quest for expression, where their skills and common vision merge and intertwine to push the boundaries of their creativity ever further.

Claire Poujoula, originally from Toulouse, was immersed in a world of craftsmanship and aesthetics from childhood: a family of French shoemakers, a grandmother who was a painter... Very early on, she developed a keen sense of craftsmanship, functionality, and beauty. A graduate in interior design from the École de Condé Paris after a preparatory course in art at the Ateliers de Sèvres, she began her career in Paris before naturally turning to ceramics, a medium of complete expression. Her innate instinct for combining colors and clays brings a unique identity to their work.
Fausto Gill Di Vincenzo, originally from Terni, has been fascinated since childhood by drawing, the purity of lines, geometric forms, and especially chiaroscuro. His creativity later found a new outlet in engineering — a different form of expression, more concrete but no less inspired. A graduate in aerospace engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome, after a thrilling journey that led him into the heart of diverse cultures, he eventually turned his inventive and precise mindset toward ceramics. His talent for drawing, strong product design sense, and technical eye now enrich their shared journey, blending innovation with poetry of form.

Sculptural furniture, totems, oversized lamps, wall murals, glazed ceramic-framed mirrors, vases, and decorative objects — their work is diverse, yet consistently marked by their signature style. Their artistry lies in the mastery of form and contrast, the alchemy of glazes with rich, deep hues and meticulously controlled drips.
Committed to every step of the process, Claire and Fausto combine craftsmanship and technical expertise, ancestral knowledge and modernity. The two work in synergy, from the exploration of form to the enamel finish, to find the perfect balance for their art.

Their choice to use stoneware fired at very high temperatures guarantees their pieces robustness, impermeability and resistance to frost - an approach that reflects their demand for quality and their commitment to sustainable creation.
It is by mastering the complex reactions resulting from the superposition of enamels that the unique effects of glazes and incredible drips are born.
Rooted in both French and Italian culture, their journey embodies a living dialogue between tradition and contemporary vision.
